The Social Worker provides a service for in-patients and their families / carers. The service includes conducting in-patient assessments, supportive and behavioural counselling, domestic violence counselling, relationship counselling, anger management, advocacy for in-patients and their carers, referral and liaison services for allied health services as well as to other government and non-government agencies, bereavement / grief counselling, referrals to drug and alcohol counselling and referrals assistance in securing accommodation and discharge planning.
