Little Bugs, Babies musical playgroup

 

Top level Community Health Groups, Programs and Events


Little Bugs is a fun time for parents and babies (0-2) to come together, play and meet others. Music and rhyme will be used as a basis but other play will also be explored. It will also provide an opportunity to discuss development, play and parenting issues relevant to this age group.

Little Bugs ran in Callington in term 4 2007. It is an initiative of the pathways for Families project which is funded by Communities For Children under the Federal Government's Stronger Families and Communities strategy. The Murray Bridge site, facilitated by anglican Community Care incorporates Murray Bridge Callington, Tailem Bend and Mannum. It is anticipated that this program will run in one of these sites each term.

Content will include:

  • Songs, Rhyme, music and movement
  • Baby Play
  • Understanding development
  • Guest speakers
  • Parenting issues with babies
  • Coffee and informal discussion
  • Access to resources.
