Pathways for Families

Top level Community Health Services Children & Families

Pathways for Families Project is funded through the Communities for Children Initiative as part of the Federal governments Stronger Families & Communities Strategy. the project aims to create connections and pathways for families, communities and individuals to come together so people can share and support each other within an identified place.

Pathways for Families will look to coordinate a range of community driven programs providing culturally appropriate supports and services to families with children 0-5 years in the Murray Mallee area.

Hubs within the communities of Murray Bridge, Callington, Taliem Bend and Mannum will be established for parents to gather together to:

  • meet other parents for mutual support
  • access strength based parenting programs
  • connect with other visiting services
  • participate in play based activities and other programs that focus on play and child/parent relationships.

Programs will be broad ranging, creative and fun so parents can feel comfortable learning more about how to promote the social, emotional and physical health and wellbeing of children aged 0-5 years.
