The Health & Wellbeing team operates within Primary Health Care principles, Social Justice and Health Promotion principles. This is reflected in the way we work with people. Our work is also influenced by narrative therapy ideas and feminist principles.

We incorporate SA Government Department of Health directions including mental health reform, Primary Health Care policy and the Women's health policy.

Team Values

The Health & Wellbeing Team is a unique and multi-faceted group of interconnected workers striving for excellence by learning from each other and from the community. We are committed to being forward looking and outward looking, and we welcome diversity.

We aim to work collaboratively with people towards common goals and for people to have greater opportunities in their lives. We offer support for change and honor differences.

We are passionate about accountability and transparency within our practice and have a commitment to work closely with the community.

We recognise power differences within our social structures and therefore want to provide services for all cultures and lifestyles based on equity of access and social justice ideas. We see ourselves as part of the global community.
