If you recognise the signs of STROKE act

F Facial Weekness, can the person smile? Has their mouth or eye drooped?

A Arm weakness, Can the person raise both arms?

S Speech Difficulty, can the person speak clearly and understand what you say?

T Time to act fast, if you recognise the signes of stroke, call 000 immediately.

If you have complications of Vascular Disease, Diabetes, Obesity etc. resulting in leg ulcers and or skin problems, Murray Mallee Community Health Registered Nurses are able to assess and treat leg ulcers in a comfortable, friendly environment providing ongoing education, support and maintenance while you enjoy a nice cup of tea.

Murray Mallee Community Health Service, Talkback Group is one of a number in SA, established to support people with aphasia and their carers in the community.

Aphasia is a language disorder, that affects the ability to understand speech, to read, to talk and to write. Aphasia occurs as a result of damage to the brain.

Community Choir

The Murray Mallee Community Choir meets every week in the "Our Well Being Place" Centre.

There are no auditions & no rejections; just an interest in being part of a community singing group.

The Choir is ably lead by Christine Hodgen (musical director) and accompanied by Peta Davis.

Grant funding for this program has been provided by Arts SA (Health Promotion through the Arts)
