Aboriginal Home and Community Care Program
The Regional Aboriginal Aged Care Program have worked together to build relationships with the Southern Flerieu Health Service, Murray Mallee Community Health Service, Murray Mallee Aged Care Group and Southern Country Respite Centre to provide culturally sensitive services to people in the Indigenous community in a non-invasive manner.
This service model aims to deliver a flexible service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Statistics show that Indigenous people experience a high level of need due to daily pressures and extended family responsibilities. Therefore services need to be flexible and provided in a culturally appropriate manner.

Paramedical Aide Services

The Paramedical Aide service is a service provided through Domiciliary Care within the Murray Mallee Community Health Service. It is funded by Home and Community Care (HACC). The aim of the PMA service is to assist people in the Murray Bridge area to attain their optimal level of independence and quality of life in their home setting.
